THEORY OF CHANGE
Establishment of a prosper is the vison of FAYA. Prosperity is the outcome of sustainable development which refers economic advancement with social justice, environmental conscience and peaceful and democratic way of life, for today and for the future. If the basic needs of people are fulfilled with good quality, if, more and more social and economic opportunities are created and shared equally, if the physical infrastructures are safe and resilient, if the environmental conscience of community people is promoted, if they practice peace and democratic culture commonly, and finally, if the human resource is equipped with compatible knowledge, skill and attitude, then the society attains sustainable development and enjoys prosperity.
THEMATIC GOAL:
For making the vision and mission more tangible and providing the objectives of organization more contexts, FAYA has clustered the aforementioned prospective efforts and initiatives in major five thematic goals. All the thematic goals are intended to bridge its long-term vision/mission and a set of objectives of organization.
Goal 1: Quality Life Development Objective: Assurance of quality fulfillment of fundamental needs food, cloth, house, education and health.
Goal 2: Decent Livelihood Development Objectives: Assurance of the development and fair distribution of social and economic opportunity for improved livelihood.
Goal 3: Productive human and social capital Development Objective: Producing competent human resource and value adding social relation for productivity.
Goal 4: Civilized Society Development Objective: Guarding freedom, equality, social justice, peace and democratic culture.
Goal 5: Safe and Resilient Community Development Objective: Building safer and resilient community through safer infrastructure and safety culture promotion.
Goal 6: FAYA a Leading CSO Development Objective: Strengthening organizational capacity, expending its linkage, exploring new resources and extending its presence promoting FAYA a leading g CSO.
CROSS CUTTING AREAS:
Mainstreaming a cross-cutting issues is a strategy to make the issue/s (an) integral part of the organization design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programs. For contributing sustainable development to obtain prosperity, FAYA has identified three cross-cutting issues for this strategic period. All efforts and intervention of FAYA, during the period, will be designed, implemented, monitored and evaluated considering them. FAYA most relevant cross-cutting issues are: 1. Gender equality and Social Inclusion 2. Child rights, youth engagement and dignity of aged people and 3. Risk reduction and environment protection.
COMMITMENT & APPROACH:
FAYA is committed to human rights principles. It will continue Human Right based Approach (HRBA) in its all efforts and intervention during the strategic period. The human right principle will guide in all phase of the programming process, including assessment and analysis, program planning and design (including setting goals, objectives and strategies); implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Rephrasing HRBA in a single quote is to capacitate right-holders to claim their rights and duty-bearers to meet their obligations.

LOCALIZATION:
Localization in this context refers to three different situations. The first one is the localization of global knowledge and technologies; Second is the localization of global resources and support as per the necessity and demand of local community; and the third is the bottom-up collaboration with local community program planning and execution.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP:
Beside strengthening its existing networks and expanding new networks in local, provincial, national and international level, FAYA will start trying itself with non-governmental organizations and people’s forums bilaterally and multilaterally to build strategic partnership nationwide. A flexible strategic partnership guideline will be developed for this reason and discussed with prospective partners. This will not only expand FAYA’s Prescence nationwide
